Excellent product! My dog doesn't mind it, but I try not to push down too much. I did go down a little harder the first time, but it was too sensitive for him. He loves it on his hind quarters... lol! I have noticed a significant amount of shedding has decreased by about 2/3 of what he was shedding around the house. My cats LOVE this brush! Even my cat who doesn’t like me will sit in my lap for a brushing. I use it on both my short hair cats and my medium hair cat. The teeth on the brush look like they might hurt, but you can press down on them and they love it even more. Press it down on yourself and you’ll see it doesn’t cause harm. Excellent for short haired Boxer

Got this to try to solve the hair everywhere problem with my boxer. It helps a LOT! I can’t believe how much hair this pulls off him and he loves this brush! Usually won’t sit still for being brushed, but to be fair I have only used soft-bristled brushes on him before this. This brush seems to scratch all his itches in addition to removing the bulk of the hair he was dropping around the house.
